8. Data Retention
We retain user data only for as long as it is required to fulfil the educational purpose for which it was collected.

• If a user account becomes inactive for 12 months, the data is archived.
• In the event the CodeKings project is discontinued, user data will be retained for 3 months before permanent deletion, allowing users time to export their work.

Users can request deletion at any time via email.
