🔐 Data Handling Summary

CodeKings is designed to be privacy-conscious and minimal in data usage. Below is a summary of how we manage and store user information:

• ✅ We store first names and usernames for basic platform functionality and personalised experience.
• ✅ We do not collect email addresses, surnames, contact details, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
• ✅ Student progress and quiz scores are stored and linked only to usernames or anonymised IDs.
• ✅ All data is stored securely via our hosting provider (currently Hostinger EU data centre).
• ✅ Quiz results and content are fully exportable by staff at any time (CSV, DOCX).
• ✅ No data is sold or shared with any third parties.
• ✅ All user access is governed by role-based permissions (Admin, Program Lead, Student).
• ✅ In line with our Terms of Service, if the platform is discontinued, users will be given 3 months' notice to export their content and data.
